We're Getting Married!

As a wee freshman at the University of Texas at Dallas, Brian entered a musty lecture hall with his fraternity pledge class in tow prepared to sing his heart out to a fellow sorority pledge class. Let's just say, "Party in the USA" is still a bop and we're glad Brian became an engineer and not a singer. Brian and Kimberly later became good friends, enjoying each other's constant flow of laughter. They finally joined forces as a couple after graduation and the rest is history!

Transparently, Brian and Kimberly called things quits in February 2022. With some trepidation surrounding taking the next step in the relationship, they took some time apart to figure out what they wanted separately. Well... that was the goal. Even though they maintained separate apartments in Uptown, Dallas, they still spent multiple days a week together. With the added perspective, they were able to re-kindle their friendship and love from the very beginning. In July 2022, they made the decision to get back together, knowing the next step would be marriage. In October 2022, they went on the trip of a lifetime to Italy. The very COMPREHENSIVE itinerary included stops in Sicily, the Amalfi Coast, Pompeii, Rome, Wine Country, Florence, and Cinque Terre. While in Positano, they went on the most beautiful boat ride around the coast. When they arrived back to the beach, Brian mentioned that they needed to hurry back to the hotel and get ready for a dinner reservation. For anyone that has been to the Tyrrhenian Sea, they know that the water is incredibly SALTY. Once they were both able to wash the layers of caked on salt from their skin and get ready for dinner, they headed back down to the beach. While strolling down Positano's rocky Spiaggia beach, Brian got on one knee and proposed!
