Do I have to RSVP?

Answer

YES! Even if you are in our wedding party or immediate family, you must RSVP. This will help us to ensure our vendors have an accurate headcount.

What if I forgot to RSVP?

Answer

It is extremely important to RSVP by the deadline provided as it impacts the final counts for our vendors. If you forget to RSVP, we will assume you cannot make it. Please note, we are not able to accommodate anyone that does not RSVP or anyone that RSVP's saying they cannot make it and shows up anyway.

What if I RSVP and can't make it?

We understand things happen. If you can not longer make it, please let us know as soon as possible so we can make the necessary adjustments.

Am I allowed a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately, no. If the name is not listed on the formal invitation, we did not have the space to accommodate them.

Are children allowed?

Answer

Unfortunately, no. This will be a mostly child free wedding. The only children allowed are those in the wedding party.

Do I have to stay at the hotels under the Travel page?

Answer

You do not! While we have taken the time to find hotels near the venue that have great reviews, you are not required to stay at the listed hotels.

What time is the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4:30pm EST.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at least 30 minutes early. You will not be allowed to enter once the ceremony has started.

Will the ceremony and reception occur at the same place?

Answer

Yes! We intentionally selected a venue that could accommodate our ceremony and reception to make it easier on our guests.

Is the wedding outdoors or indoors?

Answer

Our Ceremony and reception will both be held indoors. If the weather permits, our cocktail hour will be held outdoors.

Where should I park?

Answer

There is a parking lot on site at the venue (at no cost). We encourage our guests to carpool or utilize ride-sharing (i.e. Uber, Lyft). Unfortunately, we were not able to find a hotel with a shuttle.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Formal/Elevated Black Tie- come dressed to impress! Please no jeans, sneakers, white, cream, ivory or off-white attire.

Can we take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

During our ceremony, we ask that you do not step in the aisle to take any pictures. If your seat is on the inside of the aisle, please be mindful of where the photographer’s camera is and refrain from having your phone/camera in the way. During our reception, we ask that you do not get on the dance floor while special dances (i.e. first dance, father-daughter, etc.) are occurring to take photos.

Can I post pictures of your wedding on social media?

Absolutely! If you do share a picture on social media, please tag one or both of us so we can see it.

Are you having any other events that weekend?

Answer

We will not be having a welcome party, or farewell party.

Where should I bring/send gifts?

Answer

Your presence and support is the best gift we could ask for as we begin the next chapter of our lives together! We know some of our guests are more traditional, so we have created a cash fund that will help us go on the honeymoon of our dreams and help us in continuing to make our house a home. We will also have a box for cards at the reception.

Can I make any personal announcements?

Answer

We ask that you keep the focus of this day on us. This means please refrain from making any special announcements (i.e. proposal, pregnancy, divorce etc.). If you do have a special event happening, would be honored to attend on a different day.
