It happened on our last vacation before the pandemic changed everything. Our first full day in Hawaii after a long day of travel, we hiked down to Pololu Valley lookout. After taking in the views of the gorgeous black sand beach and clear blue water, I asked a stranger to take a picture. When I turned back around, he was down on one knee. I said YES!
