We met in Brian's apartment in Boston, at a game night. Kat was early and was watching Naked and Afraid when Brian sat down and spoke his great southern accent, and Kat was immediately amused. Brian kept saving Kat in the games, and a few days later, she repaid him with her magical sangria she brought. That was the night Brian gave Kat her the 200 kroner bill she still has today.

Brian took Kat to Roskilde to see Roskilde Domkirke, the church that Kat's parents were married in, and after the church visit, they walked down to the waterside, and sat down on the dock next to the viking boats, where Brian brought out a little box and said that there was one present that Kat had not opened yet, and upon opening the box Brian got down on one knee and asked "Will you be my viking forever?". With a yes at a sunset, we can't wait to celebrate our love in July!
