Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, please wear cocktail attire. Parts of our wedding will be outdoors, please wear appropriate footwear for walking on grass and be mindful of the weather forecast if warmer layers may be needed!

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by August 9th, 2025 Please RSVP through our wedding website. See the "RSVP" section above, or follow the "RSVP" link on the homepage.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes! We have a registry on Zola.com, as well as a Photo Registry with our wedding photographers, NH Images where you can purchase gift credit for us to buy fun mementos like a wedding portrait, wall art, photo prints, etc. Please look under the “Registry” section of our website for links to both of these registry options.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive on the island by 3:00pm. There are two options to get to the island from Portland: 1. Private charter boat for our wedding guests, which will leave the Casco Bay Lines Terminal promptly at 2:00pm. Boarding begins at 1:30pm. The charter will do a guided tour of Casco Bay before landing at the Peaks Island ferry terminal, which is a <5 minute walk from our venue. (We will have a vehicle available for transport to the venue from the ferry terminal for those who need it.) 2. Public Ferry to Peaks Island at Casco Bay Lines. You will need to purchase a ticket at the counter when you arrive (**Only if you take the public ferry**) The ferry schedule is available on the Casco Bay Lines website.

What if I do not want to join for the cruise around Casco Bay?

There is a public ferry at Casco Bay Lines that has a direct route to Peaks Island. It is a less than 20 minute ride to the island. Please see the Casco Bay Lines website for more info on the ferry schedule and fares. Please still allow adequate time to arrive on the island by 3:00pm.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

- The AC Hotel in Portland has valet parking for hotel guests at the rate of $40 per day. - Casco Bay Lines has a parking garage on-site. Please be aware this often fills up quickly on the weekends. - Portland has on-street parking options as well as several paid parking lots and parking garages. - If you plan to stay on the island, the public ferry has car ferry options so you can bring your car to the island. See Casco Bay Lines website for more information. - If you bring a car to the island please be aware that there is very limited parking at our venue, but you can park on-street nearby.

Is there transportation to and from the hotel to the ceremony?

Answer

- The AC Hotel in Portland is a 5 minute walk from the ferry terminal. There is also a shuttle bus for the hotel that is first come, first served. Please inquire at the hotel for more details about the shuttle.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

- We have booked a private charter to take guests to the island for our wedding. This will begin boarding at 1:30pm, and depart at 2:00pm. They will take you on an approximately 1 hour tour of Casco Bay, and drop you off at the Peaks Island Ferry Terminal. Light snacks will be provided, and there will be a cash bar on board for your enjoyment! - There will be an informal after party in Portland at the AC Hotel in the AC Bar & Lounge
