Where on Rumbling Bald Property am I allowed to fish?

Answer

You can fish off their boat ramp dock, which is the dock all the way to the left of the Cabana, near the wedding ceremony location. They do not allow fishing from the boardwalks, bridges, or beach. You can also fish off of the dock at Bald Mountain Lake. A permit is not required for that lake, but it is catch and release only. Please note: an N.C. fishing permit is required to fish out of Lake Lure, and you would visit NCwildlife.org and follow online prompts to purchase.

Answer

Daytime: Pleasant, with average highs around 69°F–74°F.Evenings: Quite cool, with average lows dipping to 46°F–49°F. Precipitation/Wind: April is generally dry, but mountain breezes are common, making evenings feel colder. Attire Advice: Layers are essential. Suggest light jackets or wraps for evening outdoor cocktail hours. Water Activity: The lake water is still very cold in April. The resort has an indoor swimming pool with hot tub. :) Check local forecasts just before traveling, as mountain weather can be unpredictable.
