One of the largest shopping malls in the world, WEM offers a variety of activities in addition to shopping. Skating at the ice place, swimming at the World Water Park (the largest indoor water park in the world!) riding roller coasters in Galaxy Land, viewing and petting sea creatures in the Marine Life Caverns and the Sea Lion Shows. They also have mirror mazes, clubs, a casino, a movie theater, its own Rec Room, and many food options including a Bubba Grump and much more on Bourbon Street. A must see location for the city!

We love to spend date nights here alone and with our friends!
Muttart Conservatory
The Muttart Conservatory is a beautiful botanical garden in the downtown area with different exhibits, shows, and activities for all ages! With walking trails outside leading to the beautiful River Valley, the inside and outside of this facility is picture worthy!
Legislature Building
A beautiful building with a lush surrounding area for lots of great photo opportunities. The large foundations in front of the building also double as swimming pools in the summer time! While you are here you can take a walk down into the Edmonton's beautiful River Valley.
Edmonton Valley Zoo
Featuring many magnificent animals like our Elephant Lucy, this zoo includes many different exhibits, shows, and also a concession!
TELUS World of Science
A great spot to bring the kids to! The Telus World of Science includes many different exhibits that are fun and educational! There are lots of shows, experiments, demonstrations and hands on activities to partake in.
University of Alberta Botanic Garden
Alberta's largest botanical garden, a beautiful 240 acre property. A must see for garden lovers, this location was actually in the running for our wedding ceremony!
Alberta Beach
A great place to enjoy both activities in the water as well as adventures on the trails on land! It is along the shores of Lac St. Anne, and a beautiful spot to stop and enjoy a relaxing day.
Jurassic Forest
A fun, prehistorical dinosaur park where kids and families can discover and learn about the outdoor environment and dinosaurs. We have gone here as a date location seeing as are both huge fans of Jurassic Park. Make sure to bring bug spray as it is located in Alberta's Boreal Forrest!
River Cree Resort and Casino
One of the biggest casinos in Edmonton! And it offers great dining and fun entertainment as well.
Rogers Place
Rogers Place is the newest edition to Downtown Edmonton. The arena is home to the Edmonton Oilers, and its beautiful Ford Hall is open to the public. It is connected to Ice District, and is home to a stunning new casino and restaurant.
