Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dress code is Formal or Black-Tie Optional. For the Ladies, a floor-length gown, a fancy cocktail dress, or a dressy pants suit. Men have the option of wearing a tuxedo or a formal dark suit, white shirt, and conservative tie. A suit jacket is required, a tuxedo isn't.

Can I Bring a Date?

If your invitation says "and Guest" then yes. If not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there will be complimentary valet parking for all guest attending the wedding celebration.

Please arrive 15 to 30 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony.

The Umstead will provide an open bar with two specialty cocktails and a selection of liquor, wine, and beer (as well as multiple non-alcoholic options).
