The Winter Park Boat Tour leaves every hour on the hour and it is a must see in Winter Park! This tour is fun and entertaining as it takes you through five of the Winter Park lakes connected by canals. Your boat captain will keep you entertained as he shares the history of Winter Park, the museums, and local celebrities/athletes that own homes in the area.
While strolling along Park Avenue, this is a great spot to stop in and see the world's largest collection of Tiffany Glass.
We can't recommend Downtown Winter Park enough! It is just blocks away from our wedding and reception venue. Downtown Winter Park is fondly known as "Little Europe". Park Avenue is a stunning brick-paved street filled with cafes, boutiques, sidewalk dining, wine, and art galleries. Your visit here will not be complete without a stroll down this avenue.
If you are feeling warm on this holy weekend, take a quick, 30 minute drive over to Wekiwa Springs! This is a natural spring where you can swim, kayak/canoe, or snorkel in cool, crystal clear water. It's surrounded by native Florida wetlands filled with stately cypress trees, live oak, and palms. It's a great spot to see a variety of Florida wildlife. N.B.: Effective March. 1, 2025: A new day-use reservation pilot program will be implemented at Wekiwa Springs State Park from March 12, 2025, to Sept. 1, 2025. The window for advanced reservations opens March 10, 2025. All day-use visitors will be required to have a reservation to enter the park.
New Smyrna is considered the best beach by Central Florida locals. It's an hour outside of Winter Park and boasts white sand beaches and good waves for surfing. It also has great shopping and fun restaurants to eat at, such as The Breakers, Norwoods, and The Garlic. Locals usually stop at Frozen Gold for ice cream when leaving the beach.

A popular tourist stop for shopping and dining! You can ride the monorail and see the firework displays without going into the theme parks.
Universal Studios is great for your more adventurous theme park crowd- there are a variety of roller coasters and simulated thrill rides here. You can also explore Harry Potter World - grab a butterbeer and steer clear of the dragon at Gringotts. Get a thrill on the rides at Islands of Adventure Cool off at Volcano Bay
