Cocktail / Formal. Really whatever makes you comfortable.

Any other special attire notes we should know?

Answer

Temperatures tend to dip a bit at night, and since the cocktail hour and reception will be outside you might want to bring a jacket or wrap. However there will also be heaters or bonfire pits to help keep guests warm.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

The average temperature for Athens in the month of July is 32° / 28 in the evening°. Athens has a Mediterranean climate and the daytime will most likely be hot and dry with evenings being cooler. Additionally, since the reception is near the sea basically, expect for a little breeze and slightly cooler conditions at night.

Both the ceremony and reception will be taking place outdoors.

What time should I arrive?

“We recommend that you arrive an hour before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!”

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

There is plenty space at Hotel Cokkinis and it is free.

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options

We can accomadate any allergies, intolerances or dietary preferences. Please let us know so we can plan accordingly.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #itsamatch so we can keep track of all of your pictures!

What time is the reception scheduled to end?

Answer

There is no scheduled end time. In fact, we plan on having music and a lively atmosphere going all night. When the sun starts coming out, go back to your rooms, grab your swimsuits and let's take a dip in the ocean!

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

“You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.”
