WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?

Answer

Our wedding dress code is formal attire. We are asking you to wear the nicest clothing you have easy access to. If you do not already have a formal suit or a floor length gown, a button up shirt with a tie or cocktail length dress is perfectly acceptable. Bridesmaids will be in champagne / gold attire.

HOW SHOULD WE PLAN FOR PARKING / TRANSPORTATION?

Our venue is conveniently attached to our reception via tunnel system. For parking, there are parking ramps attached to both the hotel and the reception space for $13-$15. University holiday of 12/30 should be free parking. 1. University Parking Ramp - underground tunnel to ceremony & reception at McNamara Alumni Center 1886 University Ave SE Minneapolis, MN 55455 2. Washington Avenue Parking Ramp - attached via skyway to hotel block at Graduate Hotel 501 Washington Ave SE Minneapolis, MN 55455 If you plan on consuming alcohol at our reception, please find a sober ride home or spend the night at the attached hotel!

ARE MY KIDS WELCOME?

Answer

Although we love your kids, our wedding will be older children and adults only for our NYE event due to the timing. The guests listed on the invitation envelope are invited.

WHAT IS THE FOOD AND BEVERAGE SITUATION?

Answer

We will be having a cash bar during cocktail hour and our reception. Hors d'oeuvres will be served during cocktail hour followed by a buffet style dinner. Please let us know on your RSVP if you require a plated meal due to allergies. There will be additional vegetarian and dairy-free items in the buffet you can serve yourself in addition to your plated meal. A late night snack will be provided later in the evening as well.
