We're getting married!

It was Halloween weekend in Chicago. Brian, still living in Kansas City, MO, just happened to be in town on his way back from a residency interview and we somehow ended up at the same house party. He opened the door as I walked up the steps in my Kim Possible costume, dropping cans of beer everywhere from the case that had ripped open on the way over. Luckily he didn't let my disorganization stop him from asking me to be his beer pong partner. We played pong together the entire night and we won almost every round! I guess you could say it all started with a beer.

It was our 4 year anniversary and I gifted Brian with a beautiful whiskey decanter set before we left for our date that he put together. He told me that my gift was "part of our evening", which I had been given no hints about. We arrived at Reunion Tower, a beautiful piece of the Dallas skyline. He took me out onto the western side of the circular skydeck where the sun was setting over the city, away from the crowd of people taking in the eastern view. Once it was just the two of us, he asked me to marry him as the sun disappeared and of course I said YES about 100 times! We can't wait to celebrate our wedding with all of you! See you in The Keys!
