Upscale dining that is AMAZING (according to our friend Melanie) - dinner only Wednesday through Saturday evenings, you will definitely need reservations. Tell them you want to have dinner in the bar side- much more character. If just a few people go, you can sit at the bar.

Typical bar food and great atmosphere- 21 and over only-
The Channel Marker
Awesome choice for lunch or dinner and a must stop even if only for cocktails. Tiki Bar atmosphere, must try a Swamp Water or Wawasee Sunet frozen cocktail. Or try the "Swampy Sunset", a combination of the two. You can get here via boat or it's an easy walk or drive from Oakwood.
Sleepy Owl Supper Club
Better get reservations here too, big crowds during lake season. Known for broasted chicken and prime rib, but they have really good pizza and tenderloins
Chubbies Pub And Grub
Sports bar in the bowling alley, surprisingly good and best menu item is the chicken strip basket.
Down Under
Smoking is allowed here. That being said, they have really good ventilation and it doesn't seem smokey at all. It's literally underground and it's right downtown Syracuse - I'm told they have good pizza as well.

This Brunch spot just opened. - looks like they only accept tables of 4, so be mindful of that!

Dinner at night but really good breakfast /brunch during the day.

This place was also recommended to us. Made to order Charcuterie boards, they deliver.
