We met about 10 years ago at Up Dog Yoga + Cycling where I (Graham) was a manager/teacher and Brian was a client. We only knew each other casually, but realized many years later we both felt something special about the other! Due to both of us being in committed relationships at the time, the extent of our relationship was the occasional "hello" and "how are you doing today?". We saw each other in that capacity for a few years and then Brian eventually moved to the desert full-time while his home in Los Angeles was under construction. Cut to 3-4 years later in the same studio, but under a different name, I was finishing up teaching my cycling class and as my riders were exiting the room, I saw a quick glance of Brian walking by on the other side of the door. Brian claims that we saw each other at the same time, but I'm pretty sure I saw him first ;). My heart started to pound because I knew I only had a few minutes to say hello and figure out a way to reconnect with him. I walked right up to him and somehow within 2 minutes I was able to communicate the 3 most important things; 1) We needed to catch up, 2) I'm single, and 3) Are you single?! After our brief reconnect, Brian ran into class and I went straight to my computer, added him on Facebook and sent him a message. We were able to go on our first date later that week and we've been together ever since. We have now been together for over three years and couldn't be happier!
