We matched through Hinge and immediately we started having many long conversations at night via Facetime and IMessage. Our first date was a tennis date in the city on a rainy Sunday around 2:00 pm. Since this was the first time that either Brian or Gisselle went on a date to play tennis, they knew from the beginning that this date was going to be different from the rest. After Gisselle won the match, they went on a long walk through the Highline while it was raining (such a romantic date that was unplanned to happen this way). As their conversations continued, they realized that they have many things in common and such a deep connection & attraction that they decided to move forward by being in a serious relationship. This is a love story that started in the city that never sleeps with two souls wanting to feel love and be loved from within. At the same time, they felt hopeless in their chances of finding each other. One way or another they matched. Although they were unmatchable by their usual dating filters, they gave it the benefit of the doubt, and the unexpected happened. They found in each other what they were always looking for their whole life. They both learned from each other in their day to day life, sharing the same hobbies such as working out in the gym, playing tennis, and just taking long walks while discovering the hidden treasures of a new city they now called home (Stamford, CT).
