FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

I’m saying dressy casual but I don’t care at all what you wear! Whatever you feel best in, is good for us. I’m thinking like a step down from the usual “semi-formal” vibe, so you’re welcome to wear short/midi/long dresses or khakis and a button-up. I wouldn’t say a ball gown is necessary but like something fun and cute is the vibe!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If you have a plus one, it should be listed on your invite. If for some reason you aren’t seeing one and you think you need one, just reach out to Brian or Emmalee!

Question

Will we be seeing the marriage ceremony?

Answer

We’ve chosen to get married Friday morning at the Baltimore City Courthouse with only our immediate family. We are excited to celebrate at the reception with everyone that evening!

Question

Will there be food/drinks/cake?

Answer

Of course! We will be having an open bar with food and cake to celebrate. While there won’t be a formal dinner, there will be food served buffet style to enjoy throughout the night.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Because our reception is being held at a bar, all guests will need to be 21 and up. Your invitation should list by name those who are invited!

Question

Is there parking for the reception?

Answer

The reception is taking place in Fells Point (which isn’t known for an abundance of parking). There are local lots and street parking available, but if you’ll be drinking with us, we encourage you to take the night off and Uber home!

Question

Is there an after-party?

Answer

Yes - the party doesn’t stop at 10pm! Join us in bar-hopping around Fells that evening. Our first stop will be decided at a later date!
