Maid of Honor
Cynthia is my cousin, and one of my best friends. From spending our Christmas money to buy ridiculous high heels when we were around 8 and 10, and then wearing them in the pool to the countless hours we've spent sitting in CiCi's car talking after closing down restaurants, CiCi is the closest thing I have to a sister. I'm so excited she's going to be standing next to me on our big day.
Best Man
Mike is my little brother, and the person who knows me better than anyone — except Emi, of course. I’d like to say I’ve taught him everything he’s ever learned, but I’ll only take credit for the good stuff. From sharing a room together as kids to an apartment in San Francisco (w/ Emi) as adults, Mike was and is usually close by, which is how I like it. It only makes sense to have him stand next to me on the big day.
Bridesmaid
Lauren and I met at USD in photography classes, and after years of being in awe of her photography and sense of humor, I took initiative and asked her out for Thai food 😉, and the rest is history. Lauren is one of the kindest, funniest people I've ever met and one of the best friends a girl could ask for, and I'm so honored that she'll be with me in August.
Groomsman
Danny is my older brother, and has known me longer than anyone. He and my lovely sister-in-law were the first family members I introduced Emi to, and I appreciate them not embarrassing me too much that night at the Giants game. He’s been a great role model throughout my life, and I look up to him now more than ever (even though I’m taller 😝).
Bridesmaid
Alex was one of my first friends from the Bay Area and is one of the most genuine people I've ever met. I'm so thankful that Alex came into my life. From game nights to movie dates there are never a shortage of laughs when Alex is around. I can't wait to celebrate our big day with Alex.
Groomsman
Andrew is my stepbrother, and one of my closest friends. We bonded over our love for sports as kids, and that continues as adults. He’s one of the few people that can give me a run for my money in our daily debates, even though I win most of the time 😜. I know I can talk to Andrew about anything, and it wasn’t a coincidence that when I decided I was going to propose to Emi, he was the first person I told.
Bridesmaid
Lindsay and I were best friends in high school. From ski trips to girls nights, Lindsay and I could always commiserate over the trials and tribulations of high school life. I'm so glad she'll be with me on my big day all these years later.
Groomsman
Doug is the other half of ‘Brug’ - a nickname given to us by coworkers since you rarely saw one of us without the other. We’ve worked, lived, carpooled, traveled and celebrated multiple NBA championships together. He’s been an incredible friend and confidant, and I owe him big time considering if it weren’t for him, I probably never would have met Emi.
Officiant
J.B. and Brian met in their early days in SF through mutual friends. Thanks to their shared Bay Area sports fandom, and the proximity of their apartments, the two became good friends. Since then we've celebrated championships, New Years, and puppy parenthood together, but most significantly, J.B. was in on the engagement surprise and let us highjack his birthday to celebrate our big news!
