Montauk is a fishing town at the far eastern end of Long Island. Over the years it has grown from a small town where people lived and worked to a mecca for summertime beach fun and just a little bit of mayhem. People still live and work there, but people also venture all the way east to escape from the hustle and bustle of New York City living. The small town feel remains, however. Like most beach towns, Montauk can be sleepy in the off-season. Therein lies its real charm. The beauty persists all year round, but a special quietude accompanies the fun and the sun as the weather changes. In the summer the town offers miles of beaches and destination surfing. But all year round it offers good food, great views, and fresh ocean air. Far past the center of the Hamptons social scene, Montauk waits for people who know to keep going. We have been journeying to Montauk for years and in every season. We are excited to share this special place with all of you.
