What is the date, time and location of the wedding?

Answer

The ceremony will be on June 27, 2026 at 5:30pm at Georgetown First United Methodist, located at 1280 Lexington Rd. Georgetown, KY 40324. Cocktail hour and the reception will follow at Ward Hall, located at 1782 Frankfort Road, Georgetown, KY 40324.

What date should I RSVP by?

Answer

To help us reserve enough food and seating, please RSVP as soon as possible. The last day to RSVP is May 15th.

I cannot attend the wedding in-person, do I need to RSVP to watch the live stream?

Answer

Yes, you do need to RSVP to watch the live stream so we will know who to send the link to.

Question

If I cannot come in-person and didn’t have the option to RSVP for the livestream but want to, how do I do that?

Answer

If you didn’t have the option to RSVP for the livestream and want to, please contact Brian or Elizabeth and one of them will help you with that.

Can I share the live stream link with others?

Answer

Yes, if you know someone who would like to watch the wedding, you are welcome to share the link with others.

What should I know about the venue

Answer

The ceremony will be held in the main sanctuary of the church. The reception will be held outside at the historic Ward Hall Manor. Guest may explore the manor on their own. It does have A/C and guests may go inside to cool off if they get too hot. There are fully functioning restrooms outside the manor in the smoke house. Guest will need to provide their own transportation from the church to the manor. If it does storm, the reception will be moved inside the church gym instead. We will notify guest if this change takes place.

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

The dress code is dressy causal/church attire. Since the reception is outdoors, guest are encouraged to wear light clothing. Guest may also go into the historic home during the reception to cool off.

Will there be transportation from the ceremony to the reception?

Answer

No. Guest will need to provide their own transportation if they are attending the reception after the ceremony.

Are plus ones or children allowed?

Answer

Plus ones that are approved by the bride and groom are allowed. Only children related to the bride and groom or those in the wedding party are allowed.

Is parking available?

Answer

Yes, parking is available in the front and back parking lot of the church during the ceremony. At the reception, you may park on the side lawn at Ward Hall.

I am not attending but would still like to give you a gift, can I still purchase something off the registry list?

Answer

Yes, you can still purchase something off of the registry list even if you don't attend. We also have a honeymoon fund on the registry if you would like to contribute to that.

Is there another way to contribute to the wedding?

Answer

If you would like to give other contributions such as gift cards or cash, you may bring them to the wedding or contact us for mail or Venmo options. You can also contribute to the honeymoon through the registry section of the website.
