Brian and Dina met through their son, Oliver. They bonded through their shared conviction that he is the cutest baby that ever lived.

Dina and Brian met through a mutual friend, who invited them both to a small group picnic so they could meet in a low pressure environment. Dina and Brian did not speak to each other at this picnic. However, several pickleball games later Brian finally asked Dina to go on their first date together.

Brian and Dina went on their first date at Drakes in Oakland. They drank beers, ate fries, and realized they both wanted to try trail running.

Brian and Dina would spend almost every weekend together after that first date, discovering new trails to run all over the Bay Area and refueling with beers and fries afterwards. On rainy days they cozied up inside, passing the day with puzzles and John Wick marathons.

During the Summer of 2022, Dina and Brian took a trip to Hawaii with a group of friends. During their flight, they precisely calculated the exact time at which their flight was halfway to Hawaii. It was at this very moment that Dina and Brian knew they were an unstoppable team. And it was at this moment that they decided to start a family and spend the rest of their lives together.
