Time to celebrate!

They met through their mutual friends: her sorority sister and best friend, his oldest friend from childhood (11 days apart). They were introduced on New Years Eve 2013, but no love connection was made. They reconnected at a birthday party; he did not remember her. She was pissed. Two years later after seeing her on Labor Day Weekend, he realized she was the girl of his dreams. Someone he had known for two years, sitting right across the table from him. He got the courage to ask her out: she declined. Then she got the courage to ask him out two days later: he accepted, with a bit of reluctance. And here we are. The moral of the story is timing is everything and it took their crazy story of 'no' and 'maybe' to lead them to 'yes'. And it was well worth the wait.
