Brian and Dayna met organically in September 2018 at Southbound Brewery during Brian’s time there bartending. Brian kept Dayna’s glass full as they shared jokes, glances and hot sauce. On their first date, he asked her to be his first mate for a ride on The Wannie, the Scott’s Carolina Skiff. They brought their favorite salt water snack, boiled peanuts, to have before dinner at The Wyld Dock & Bar. The boat’s running lights were out on this Autumn Sunday evening, but the way home was illuminated by the near full Harvest Moon. Water glassy, music smooth, peanuts forgotten. Together the two have experienced new places, challenging times and fresh beginnings. They thrive by supporting each other’s dreams and have fun no matter the weather. Brian proposed to Dayna at Red Rocks Amphitheater, Colorado during a cold and rainy My Morning Jacket concert in August of 2022. They welcome a lifetime of exploration, live music, salt-water, star-gazing, and endless love.
