Things To Do

Especially for our guests visiting San Antonio perhaps for the first time, here are some suggested and favorite places to visit during your weekend, mostly in the Downtown and Southtown parts of the city.
San Antonio Museum of Art

San Antonio Museum of Art

200 West Jones Avenue, San Antonio, TX 78215

Located Downtown on the River Walk, this museum has, among many other special pieces, a unique collection of Spanish colonial art.

El Camino de San Antonio Missions

El Camino de San Antonio Missions

701 E Pyron Ave, San Antonio, TX 78214

El Camino De San Antonio Missions is comprised of five unique religious and military complexes that Spanish Franciscan friars built in the 18th century. The Missions have served as religious and cultural staples over the years. Today, the San Antonio Missions includes a hike-and-bike system, created in 1993, allowing pedestrian, bicycle, and vehicle passage throughout the five sites.

The Hoppy Monk

The Hoppy Monk

1010 North Loop 1604 East, San Antonio, TX 78232

For our guests who might be missing Belgium, this pub in Thousand Oaks (northern part of the city) has an excellent selection of beers—and even some Belgian beers van 't vat (on draft). Independently owned, the Hoppy Monk is from El Paso!
