We had our first date at a little spot in the DC wharf called Cantina Marina. Our night was filled with laughter and a spontaneous trip to the Nationals game, so we knew we were off to a good start.... Then our days were quickly filled with DC adventures, trips to Cape Cod, camping, and with our pup, Marley.

The mysterious day began with a boat ride around Miami Beach. Dolphins and manatees came along for the ride. We landed at Flagler Monument Island, which reminded us of the Washington Monument in DC, and enjoyed some sun, food, and music. While I was distracted, laying on the hammock, Brian took advantage and arranged for yet another surprise... He walked me over to a different spot where I turned around and found him kneeling next to a bed of roses, asking me to be in his life forever. In the midst of background cheer from our neighbors and happy tears, I said "Yes!" Little did I know, the surprise did not end there... as our boat returned to the dock, our families from Florida to Virginia surprised us for an endless night of love.
