CMI: University of Illinois Willard Airport
This is by far the most convenient and closest, but likely most expensive, option. American flies in/out of CMI from/to Chicago O'Hare and Dallas-Fort Worth. CMI is only about 10 mins from downtown Champaign and 25 mins from Mahomet. Uber and Lyft are available to/from the airport. CMI has all the major national car rental chains on site.

IND: Indianapolis International Airport
This is the second closest and easiest major airport. IND is about a 1 hour and 50 minute drive to downtown Champaign and 2:15 to Mahomet.

MDW: Chicago Midway International
Midway is almost as close as IND, but the drive could take a little longer if there is traffic.

ORD: O'Hare International Airport
Since O'Hare is in the Chicago suburbs, the drive is often close to 3-3.5 hours due to traffic. The airport is massive so car rental and security can take longer than the other airports listed here. However, as it is the largest it is often the cheapest.

This is our preferred place to stay in Champaign-Urbana: it's close to all downtown Champaign has to offer: coffee shops, restaurants, and the bar where we had our first date, Punch!

Uber & Lyft
Uber and Lyft are in Champaign-Urbana. Rides can be scheduled to/from Willard Airport and in theory to/from the venue in Mohamet. But due to the small size of Mohamet, we only recommend using ride shares within CU and to/from Willard Airport. A return ride from the venue in Mahomet could be difficult to book.
