What is the dress code?

We're celebrating in formal attire! A few things to keep in mind: the ceremony will be held on grass, and the reception is under a tent with solid flooring. We'd recommend keeping this in mind when choosing your footwear! For women: floor-length gowns or formal midi dresses are ideal. Dressy jumpsuits are also welcome. For men: a suit and tie or tuxedo is perfect. Our bridesmaids will be wearing light blue, so feel free to keep that in mind when choosing your outfit — though there's no need to avoid the color!

Can guests bring a plus-one or their kids?

Answer

Plus-ones have been extended to select guests and will be reflected on your invitation — your invite will indicate whether a guest has been included for you. As for little ones, we love your kids but have chosen to keep the ceremony and reception adults-only (with the exception of children in the wedding party). However, kids are more than welcome at the Thursday welcome party and Saturday brunch.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

No transportation will be provided. All events will take place on the grounds of The Abbey, with the exception of the Thursday welcome party — plan for about a 9-minute drive!
