Brian and Cara’s story began with a simple phone call. Brian reached out to Cara to pick her brain about psychiatry, neither expected that conversation to change everything. Soon after, they grabbed drinks as colleagues and what was meant to be a casual happy hour quickly blossomed into a night of endless conversation and non-stop laughter. From then on, they were hooked—constantly finding any excuse to see each other. Though navigating the distance between Raleigh, NC and Canton, GA wasn't always easy, their connection made the miles feel small. They quickly realized they weren’t just partners; they were truly best friends who loved nothing more than just paling around and laughing together. On May 3, 2026, the very first day of their European vacation, against the breathtaking backdrop of the Swiss Alps and a gorgeous waterfall in Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland, Brian popped the question. Cara said yes, and they can’t wait to start their next great adventure together.
