If you prefer to stay in a hotel, Waterbury and Montpelier are both nearby and easily accessible from I89. If you prefer an AirBNB or rental, there are a many sites available along route 100 & 100B within a 20 minute drive of the venue.
Note: October is peak foliage season here in Vermont, so accommodations tend to fill up quickly.
