Monserrate is a mountain over 10,000 feet high that overlooks the Bogota city center. There is a church, built in the 17th century, that sits atop the mountain that houses a shrine devoted to El Señor Caído ("The Fallen Lord").

La Candelaria is the Colonial Center of Bogota where the city was first founded centuries ago. Beautiful architecture, museums (Museo de Botero, Casa de la Moneda, Museo de Oro), and great bars and restaurants.
