We worked at the same company for over a year without ever crossing paths until finally stumbling across each other's Instagram pages. A few likes here and a few direct messages there, we decided to finally meet up for lunch at our headquarters. We talked for hours about traveling, career aspirations, food, and bumblebees. We realized we lost track of time talking when interrupted by a colleague, we woefully finished our meals and went our separate ways back to work. Our instant connection was undeniable and we both walked away knowing we wanted to continue getting to know each other more, we've been talking and getting to know one another every day since. -Brian & Briana

The date was March 12th, 2020 and the State of Washington's governor just announced the state lockdown due to the Covid-19 outbreak. Briana and I both sat in disbelief and contemplated what our next move should be. I could tell she was anxious and unsure of what was next for us. I heard God tell me the time was now and I sneaked off to the other room to tell my father and pastor "tonight is the night" After a few moments, I returned back to the living room and asked Briana "Do you trust me?" she quickly answered "Yes" I then asked her to close her eyes while I took out the ring I had been hiding from her for the last two weeks. When she opened her eyes, I presented her with the ring and told her "since the very first day I met you, I knew God brought me, my wife. I am a better man because of the woman that you are and I will continue to work to be the husband that you deserve. I will always protect you, I will work to provide for our family, and I will honor you through everything I do. With you by my side I've seen more of my potential and if you trust me, I know as your husband and you as my wife, we can get through anything together" I asked Briana to marry me and with tears in her eyes, she said YES and we sealed it with a kiss as she covered us in prayer. -Brian
