On Halloween Day in 2016, Bre was at Walt Disney World in Florida at a Hanson concert (no one should be surprised by this) and saw a photo pop up on her Instagram. It was a photo from Ivan Kwan's bachelor party and Brian was in it. Right away she knew he was someone she wanted to meet and was excited to learn he would be at Ivan and Hollie's wedding just a couple days later. On that day, Bre arrived to the wedding early and, lo and behold, Brian was standing outside of the venue talking to mutual friends. They were introduced immediately and the entire wedding consisted of them laughing, dancing, and bonding over their upcoming trips to Japan. A few photos were taken of them that day and those remain their most cherished photographs because not many couples get to document the very moment they met the love of their life.
Since that day, they continued to talk every single day, even when they were in Japan at different times, and their lives just fell into place. Many couples have stories about their firsts - first time they held hands, or kissed, or said I love you, but it was different for Bre and Brian. Those momentous occasions happened naturally and without much celebration because they both knew this was forever. Their lives melded together so easily and organically and it finally felt like they had found their missing piece. They never became "official" in the normal sense of the word because there was no need to. They just were and knew they always would be.
The proposal was one for the books. That particular morning, as they were getting ready to take their boat out, Brian made Bre breakfast and played Hanson while she got ready. They packed everything up and it was just another day hanging out together and enjoying the week. As they got to a certain section of the harbor, Brian had Bre sit on the back of the boat as they looked at houses they liked and disliked. Just as they went under a bridge Brian told Bre he had something for her and he opened a compartment of the boat to reveal the ring box. Right then they came out from under the bridge to falling rose petals and cheering. When she looked up there was a sign that said "Will You Marry Me?" being held by every single member of both families. As if THAT wasn't enough, seconds later another boat pulled up beside them full of Bre's friends cheering and shouting. Sharing that moment with the people who matter the most was such an incredible experience and they both loved every second.
Brian and Bre love doing everything together but their favorite thing is spending time with family and each other. While they love getting out and being active, their all time favorite thing to do is lay in bed and eat snacks. Whether they're watching sports, dog videos, Disney movies, one of Bre's "nerd movies", or every reality competition show, they're happy just hanging out. Being spontaneous and ridiculous is an every day occurrence which include early morning dance parties, terrible car karaoke, and late night wrestling matches to see who can claim the most bed space and blankets. They're lives are full of laughter and love and they're so excited to begin this next chapter together.
