The Story So Far...

Swiping Right on Forever

In a true example of modern romance, Brad and Brian met on Tinder in April of 2016. Brian swiped first, but Brad sent the first message. With a little wine-flavored courage, Brad invited Brian to meet him at Sea Life Aquarium in Auburn Hills, MI on May 4th of 2016. After an evening of elegant sea creatures and two uncomfortable introverts attempting to make small talk, the rest was written in the stars. A month later, the pair were "going steady." Brian initiated, but before he asked to put a label on it, he first asked for the wifi password. For two and a half years, the pair stayed strong moving through 7 jobs, 4 apartments, 4 cars, and 2 birds, to finally settle in their first shared home in Clarkston, MI in August of 2019. Deciding that their home was too clean and they weren't busy enough, they brought home their first fur baby in February of 2019, welcoming Pippa into their home. A few short weeks later, under the guise of a birthday dinner, Brad took Brian to the same aquarium where they had their first date. Under the watchful eye of several stingrays and an elusive sea turtle, Brad asked Brian to be his husband, and Brian agreed. But that's not where we stop, due to their love of dramatics and pageantry, a month later, at the gazebo that Brad's great-grandfather built for his great-grandmother, Brian asked Brad to be his husband. Just to be safe. Now, we ask you to join us on 9/12/2020 to celebrate the story that has been written, and the countless chapters yet to be seen!
