When it comes to finding our true love we never know when that person will walk into our lives. Even though we met before through mutual friends, we never talked much after those few meetings. Until one day, a day that wasn't common for him. If anyone knows the Shack parents, Friday nights are pizza nights! Chase never went with his mom to pick up the pizza but this night for some reason he went. Standing at the counter working away on a busy Friday night there I was. Phones ringing, customers talking, pizzas being slung around and my world stopped. I tried to play it cool because let me tell you, seeing him after a few years my jaw dropped. Playing it cool, not knowing what to say, I blurted out "Chase right" and immediately turned out and of course he had to correct me. "It's under Christine", I grabbed that box and rang them up as fast as possible because I am the queen at avoiding small talk. Out they walked, gone, did I just lose my chance? They weren't even out of the parking lot and I rushed to my phone to see if I had his number. You know what I texted him? Hey? No, apparently I'm not good with my slick pickup phrases and all I said was "Hey, you got cute" ya that's what I said.... Apparently, he thought the same thing because the conversation has get to end and the love is forever flowing. Who would have thought years ago we would of been here!

The six of us, Christine, Brian, Haley, Kaitlyn, Chase and I. Went on a family vacation to Gatlinburg Tennessee for a week. After a week of amazing memories, on our last full day. Brian claimed he wanted to remake and old picture at the river between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Thinking nothing of it I hoped out of the truck and went on an adventure, when they went to get their picture so I thought. Climbing through the trees on the bank, moving from rock to rock, I just wanted to find a place to cross the river. The rest of the family was playing catch up and I was just playing in the water. Chase had to play it off and told me to look for a cool rock for our fish tank. Once the rest of the family caught up and cameras ready. He busted out the most beautiful ring I have ever seen behind a rock. Didn't take a split second to make my decision and say yes to my love of my life.
