Andriana and Brian met in 2009 in the University Choir at Alabama A&M University. Andriana was a shy songbird while Brian was the class clown musical genius. Andriana always thought Brian was attractive but never thought that he would be interested in her. The two became friends as they served together as Mr. & Miss University Choir. Andriana was so nervous that she barely uttered words during this period as she stood by his side for nearly a week. Brian noticed her silenced but still tried to make conversation. Andriana expressed how much she liked Brian to a mutual friend not knowing that their friend was only going back to tell Brian everything. The funny part was that their friend was Brian's friend first. Go figure... In 2013, Brian’s effort in surprising Andriana on Valentine's Day became a moment both won’t ever forget. Brian finally made his first move. He endowed Andriana with his love, flowers - that he didn't know were fake at the time - and a teddy bear that Andriana still has till this day. Nervous, but elated at the same time, Brian sang Tevin Campbell’s “Tell Me What You Want Me to Do" to Andriana in efforts to win her heart. It was the beginning of something beautiful. Shortly after, Brian began to continually confess his love to Andriana on their first official date. Brian and Andriana continued their interest in each other while completing their graduating year at Alabama A&M. The two officially started courting after a special romantic dinner in Chattanooga, TN. This same place is where Brian decided to propose to Andriana on September 22nd, 2020. Their loving bond has been strengthening ever since.
