FAQs

Question

What time is the wedding?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will begin at 2pm. We kindly ask guests to arrive 15 minutes early to settle in and be part of the moment as it begins.

Question

How can I access the church?

Answer

From the parking lot entrance, the church is upstairs. Please take the staircase or elevator to the next level and follow the hallway to the church.

Question

What time does the reception begin?

Answer

The reception begins at 4pm with a cocktail hour, followed by dinner and dancing.

Question

What can guests do during the one-hour break between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Guests are welcome to use this time at their leisure: take photos, unwind or explore nearby spots. You’re welcome to head over to the reception venue early — Tunxis has a tavern open to the public where you can sit or grab a drink while you wait. If you prefer to explore, there are local restaurants nearby — including Fork & Fire, a hidden gem restaurant and bar conveniently located right on the way. Guests staying at the hotel may also use this time to check in before heading to the reception.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes - we will have an open bar available during the reception.

Question

What's for dinner?

Answer

A buffet‑style dinner will be served with a variety of options for guests to enjoy. Please include any dietary restrictions with your RSVP so we can do our best to accommodate everyone.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We suggest semi‑formal or cocktail attire, but truly you should wear whatever makes you feel fabulous and ready to celebrate.

Question

Is there parking at the venues?

Answer

Parking for the ceremony is available behind St. Patrick’s Church. The parking lot can be accessed from Maple St. Parking at Tunxis is also available for the reception. Guests who plan to take an Uber or rideshare home or back to the hotel are welcome to leave their car at Tunxis overnight.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We are having a small, intimate wedding with only our closest friends and family. Your invitation will indicate whether a plus‑one has been included.
