Allie’s and Brians's love story first began by meeting through a mutual friend. This mutual friend would bring Allie around to social gatherings that Brian attended and Brian would attend social gatherings that they would host. Over time, they knew of each other but never had any intentional conversations or moments together. However, in Spring 2021, a group of friends decided to go to Dallas for a weekend getaway trip. Trying to plan this trip, Brian and the group of friends decided to invite Allie and the mutual friend. After some persuading, they both said yes and we were going to Dallas. While in Dallas, a smaller group of people went out one night to an arcade called Cidercade and that’s where things started to unfold. Allie and Brian created and shared their first moment together. It was during that moment they both felt something that we knew was real. That was genuine and that would soon evolve to be love.

Fast forward, to March 2023, Brian informed Allie that they were asked to participate in a video shoot for a local arcade, Universal Nonstop for some promotional content for them. We went to the arcade and recorded content for them and it was a fun time. Secretly this was all part of Brian’s plan for the proposal. Brian then mentioned to Allie a week or so later that they needed us to come back and redo some of the content that they took of us. Despite Allie’s confusion of it, she trusted Brian and said yes. allie didn’t understand why they would ONLY need us to record content for them again but Allie came. On March 29th, 2023, Brian and Allie went to Universal Nonstop for a second time to “record content”. The moment was coming. Brian and Allie was asked to fake trying to win a teddy bear from a claw machine. However the teddy bear was planted in the prize box as well as the ring. First attempt of recording the content, Brian spent some time “playing” and then reached for the planted teddy bear and we rejoiced in awkward excitement (lol). Second attempt, we did it again. Third and last time, Brian attempted to win a teddy bear from the claw machine for the “content” and then reached for the prize but this time, instead of a teddy bear, Brian reached for the ring box and asked Allie to marry him.
