Wedding Party

Meet our special family and friends who will be standing by our sides on our wedding day

Sara Grover

Maid of Honor

I would say I am one of the lucky ones that got to grow up with a sister. A sister that is only 15 months older, too! We bickered, we stole each other's clothes, and almost fist fought once. She's the Yin to my Yang. She's book smart, I'm street smart. She's a lawyer, I'm a nurse. She's sensitive and loving and I...got my dad's genes (love ya, Dad). We are nearly complete opposites, yet we have grown together instead of apart, and will continue to no matter what sides of the country we are on! Most importantly, she's welcomed Brian into the family from day one and I could not thank her more for that.

Bobby Phillips

Best Man

I have known Bobby all of my life, so there was no question he would end up being my Best man. He has taught me numerous life lessons and always seems to have time to chat. From playing Jurassic Park in the front lawn of our childhood home to Universal Studios trips as adults, we have had each others backs from the beginning, but that doesnt mean we didn't occasionally get on each others nerves. I cannot wait to continue into another portion of life's journey with him right by my side.

Hannah Menzies

Bridesmaid

I've known Hannah since pre-school, although we chose not to be friends yet then. We didn't get close until high school (different high schools) when we started hanging out through a mutual friend. We managed to keep up with each others lives through 4am Clam Pass runs before school, track meets, and weekend sleepovers. Then we went to college and roomed together. Go Noles. Fast forward to now, we have to hunt each other down from different parts of the country (and world) to hang out for just for a day or two. Thankfully, she got to be a part of the start of mine and Brian's relationship and she never let a day go by without checking in and giving me her honest opinions about things. Opinions that I cherish, always!

Daniel Brauchli

Groomsman

Daniel has been one of my best friends for as long as I can remember. We went to school together from Pre-k all the way through highschool. From pool parties after hot school days to weekend bbq's with food experimentation, we have seen and been through alot together. Although we live on opposite sides of the country now, our bond has never been stronger.

Margit Mikkelsen

Bridesmaid

I was really only friends with her in high school because her dad cooked the greatest feasts for whoever showed up at their house and also passed his good talents on to Margit. She would make me an omelette when I slept over while I struggled to make pancakes. All jokes aside, it takes a special bond to be able to live in different cities the last ten years and still manage to stay best friends and reunite like we haven't missed a thing. Here is to more mountain climbing, more tent sharing, and more adventures.

Matt Wright

Groomsman

Matt Wright will forever be a firsty-lasty (have to say both first & last name when addressing). Matt Wright and I met at a fifth grade luncheon social and from then on we have been sharing food constantly. He is one of the most genuine, fun-loving people I know and is always down for a good time. He always has a smart quip to lighten a mood and I have no doubt he has my back when I truly need it.

Ali Dahl

Bridesmaid

Ali and I apparently have known each other since this picture above but neither of us know when or where this was. We became close in high school and even closer in college when she introduced me to the sport of Ultimate Frisbee. We played all four years together, made countless more friends and memories, and were roomies our senior year of college. A few years later we ended up in the same city and lived only blocks from each other. she then introduced me to my other love, yoga. She is best Ali I know and you'll know which one is her on the dance floor.

Connor Thompson

Groomsman

Connor has been one of my best friends from middle school years onward. Countless night have been spent either in his childhood home's basement or my home's attic watching movies, playing video games but of course who could forget the Jamacian beef patties and Ellios frozen pizza. Connor as a friend is dependable and I have no doubt in my mind he will be there when I need him and even if I dont. Lots of fun times were had growing up in Maplewood NJ, alot in part to this guy.

Lari Ferreira

Bridesmaid

Despite calling me Bully Grover the entirety of college, I still want her to be by my side on my wedding day. We met in college playing ultimate frisbee and bonded instantly on the field. we are totally different in almost every way but it makes me love her even more. She was also my roommate in college and it was the best year ever. She is always down for a good time, always down to have deep conversation, and always down to meet friends halfway across the country at any given time. She is the best ultimate player and skier I know and I'm one lucky gal to know her.

Morgan Stanely

Groomsman

Morgan has become my most recent best friend but that does not take away from the bond we share. We started as DUF brothers on the frisbee field and ended up brothers for life. From letting me crash at his house when flying home to Fourth of July parties at the Beach, Morgan has been there for me and continues to push me, on and off the field. Being able to live next door to him at FSU gave me some incredible memories and unforgetable stories.

Luca McGirl

Ring Bearer

I was Luca's nanny from 15 months old until about 3 years old. And now he is 7!! Hopefully he still wants this role that I promised him years ago! Watching him grow up has been the greatest blessing, as well as gaining his two great parents into my life as well. From zoo visits and hundreds of walks around the neighborhood and running around my yard chasing the dogs, to now a days picking him up from elementary school once in a blue moon and hearing about his day, his friendships, and his love for Pokemon. He took a liking to Brian after a few games of hide and seek at the park and a trip to the ice cream parlour. I hope to be a part of his life as long as he allows me, and beyond!

For all the days along the way
