We actually met at Friendship Preschool back when we were just little babies! I have been in love with this man since I first met him! l however, it took him longer to come around. We saw each other periodically throughout our middle and high school days, and each time I knew that I was going to marry him someday. Brian, however, needed more convincing. We hadn't talked much throughout 10th grade, but for All-State Orchestra we started to talk, and connect again. We spent the whole weekend talking and laughing and getting to know each other again after a while of not talking. It was then that he realized what I already knew: we were meant to be together. Since then we have moved to Salt Lake City Utah together to go to the University of Utah. We also have 2 adorable kittens named Kashi and Bean who live with us in downtown SLC. My major is Hospitality Management and Tourism, and his is Entrepreneurship. Brian is working at Olive Garden as a dishwasher, busser, and host. I work at Hyatt House Salt Lake City Downtown as a front desk agent, and are exuberant about our upcoming wedding. :) We are very excited to see everyone for our wedding in October! xoxo -Aleah & Brian
I always assumed I would be able to tell when and how Brian was going to propose, but boy was I wrong. It was Christmas Eve after all the festivities had died down and Brian insisted on going to his moms house. I was tired and wanted to change but he said I should just wait a little bit longer. I just assumed he wanted to take pictures with her, so I just went along with it. When we were driving he was going a really weird way, almost driving to Dairy Queen, and I got very excited! We were going to get ice cream! It wasn't until we were pulling into the parking lot of West Middle School that I completely realized what was happening. We got out of the car into the cold almost midnight air, and he told me this is where our story began. Now it's time to tie the knot, and spend our forever together!
