Will there be parking at the venue?

Yes! There is free parking at The Thompson Inn and Cyderhouse!

Will there be air conditioning?

Answer

Yes! The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside in the shade. The reception will be inside with central air conditioning

Do you have a room block?

Answer

Yes! We have a room block at The Holiday Inn Express in Durham, NH. It's a 6 minute drive from The Thompson Inn and Cyderhouse. We will also be providing transportation to/from The Holiday Inn Express & The Thompson Inn and Cyderhouse before and after the wedding. Yes! We will be providing transportation to/from The Holiday Inn Express and The Thompson Inn and Cyderhouse!

What time will buses be leaving for the wedding?

Answer

Buses will depart the Holiday Inn Express at 3:30pm and 4:00pm. There will also be a bus provided to drive guests back to the hotel after the reception at 10:00.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We want everyone to feel comfortable at our wedding. We are requesting guests dress in cocktail attire. This can be a suit and tie/bowtie, cocktail dress, dressy skirt, or pantsuit. If you have any questions about attire, please don't hesitate to reach out to us!

How do you define "cocktail attire?"

Answer

Great question! All these wedding attire terms are confusing - we had to look this up ourselves! Our wedding dress code is "cocktail attire." If you're planning on wearing a dress, it doesn't have to be overly formal, but we'd recommend avoiding mini or particularly short dresses. Just above the knee or longer is a safe bet! If you're planning on wearing a suit, that's a safe bet, too! Tuxedos are definitely not necessary. Finally, please avoid wearing white!
