Liz Arcury

Co-Maid of Honor

I met Briana Cunningham for the first time in our high school's International Baccalaureate program. We were freshman and completely terrified of the overwhelming workload. Because our last names are so close alphabetically, we were placed near each other in several classes. I was pretty shy at first, as was Bri. We both slowly came out of our shells with each other and boosted each other's confidence, giving each other a small oasis of silliness and sisterhood at this massive high school. Over the years we both blossomed, with Bri dominating the Varsity Girls Basketball team senior year. Bri made me laugh so hard all the time, and still does. I can't believe we are 30! From Homecoming and Prom to traversing London with Andrea and everything in between, it's been an incredible journey so far. We've been best friends going 16 years strong, and the adventure is just beginning. Congratulations, Bri & Darius!

Co-Maid of Honor

Briana and I have been best friends for 10 years. We met at UF, we were both "trying out" for the head coach position at Oak Leaf middle school which was a private school in Gainesville. I needed a ride home and she lived around the corner from me, so she took me home. On the way home, we stopped at Zaxbys. She had never had their food before, so I made her get what I was getting. She later text me that it was amazing and that her "taste buds love my taste buds" , and we've been best friends ever since. We coached together and she helped me through some super difficult times during that first year of our friendship. We've taken some major life steps together. We pretty much grew up together, from those young girls to beautiful women. We travel together, bought our 1st house together, became nurses together and then nurse practitioners together. We've been each other's support systems for the last 10 years, pretty much inseparable lol. She's my sister from another mister and I love her so much and I'm soooo proud of her!

I met Bri, AKA Breezy, through our mutual friend Andrea at UF. She became my fellow Caribbean friend that shared my love of reggae, curry, and all things spicy. We grew up with similar cultures and parents which created an immediate bond. We congregated at Andrea and Amanda's apartment where we created countless crazy memories, from our all-night study groups and nighttime adventures around campus, to "Turn Up Tuesdays" at the apartment. Bri always brings the music and fun, but is also a pillar of strength whenever we have difficult times. I am lucky to have such an honest, funny, and caring friend like Bri. After seeing her fall in love and get engaged, I can't wait to stand by her as she marries Darius! I am so excited for their wedding and their future together!

I met Bri, Breezy, in college while attending UF. My roommate and BFF Andrea, Dreezy, brought her over to our apartment after work one day…. And many many days following that. The rest is history! She basically lived with us while we experienced one the best summers of our lives. One of my favorite memories with Bri is making dinner with Andrea and Bri one time. Bri, unfortunately, left Andrea and I to finish cooking while she probably took a quiz that was due yesterday. This led to what remains to be the most spicy meal I’ve ever had the “pleasure” of having. All three of us sat around our little table trying to “enjoy” dinner with tears streaming down our faces. I’ll never forget Bri saying that her grandma would probably love this meal and think it was great. I definitely had a few more bites in Bri’s grandma’s honor but had to stop there before my lips felt like they might fall off my face.

I met Bri through our mutual bestie Andrea, while we were at UF. From the beginning Bri and I were always laughing with each other but also at each other LOL we connected for many different reasons including our caribbean blood--- I attempted to speak patios and she seamlessly spoke back in spanish. We also connected as Christian sisters and love attending church together! We are both nurses and love talking about all the nursing details non-nurses would most likely lose their appetite on. We were meant to cross paths and do life together. I have already been able to witness beautiful moments in her life that include graduations x3-->becoming a DOCTOR, buying her first house, getting engaged, and soo much more.. Now I get the honor to stand by her as she marries the love of her life. I am so grateful to be friends with Bri & I am beyond excited to celebrate her and Darius!

Bridesmaid

I met Bri in college through Andrea. She and Andrea would come to visit me at UCF and we went on different adventures like to an Orlando Magic, Golden State game and to see Wicked, etc. From the first time I met Bri, I knew she was a genuine person and fun to be around. I admire her passion for music.
