Victor and Briana met at a college party. Victor had recently moved to Texas from New York while Briana was starting her second year of school. Victor had asked her to dance twice before she finally said yes. He was a smooth dancer and funny too. She glowed beautifully when he first laid eyes on her. The two instantly became huge parts of each other's lives. It took about half a year before they shared their first date where Victor took Briana to dinner in Bryan, Texas and then to a quaint little chocolate store for dessert. It was the best date she had ever been on. Victor finally asked Briana to be his girlfriend May 27th during Memorial Day weekend. Briana and Victor soon found that they loved adventures and they quickly started traveling together. It started with small weekend trips and by their first anniversary they were traveling across the US, visiting 10 different states together, plus Puerto Rico and D.C. Last year they took their relationship international. Briana planned Victor’s 30th birthday, taking him to Spain and Portugal for a beautiful vacation. Briana thought Victor might propose here, but this was not in Victor's plans. He always said he wanted his proposal to her to be big and unexpected, so she wondered how he could possibly top this. Their next destination was New Mexico for their 5th year anniversary; again no proposal so she assumed maybe during the holidays. On their last trip over this past summer, Victor and Briana took a family vacation with his family back to his homeland in Honduras. It was amazing to see Victor's roots and where he came from. The trip was exciting and beautiful, so the last thing on Briana’s mind was a proposal, while this was the only thing on Victor's mind. When it was least expected, Victor proposed to her on the beach of Roatan, Honduras, surprising her with a beautiful grand gesture surrounded by family, love, and a gorgeous sunset. The beach now and forever has a special place for them. As they plan their wedding, it only made sense for them to have a destination beach wedding. Their love for travel, family and each other will make this experience magical!
