What is the dress code?

Answer

We would prefer formal/black tie optional for our guests. However, we will also accept cocktail/semi-formal! But really, don't stress too much about your outfit. The most important thing is that you're there to celebrate our big day with us!

Where will out-of-town guests be staying?

Answer

We have blocked off rooms at the Home2Suites by Hilton in Frankfort, KY for all of our out-of-state guests! Please see "Travel" page above for more info :)

How can we get to Castle & Key?

Answer

Lexington/Frankfort does have Uber and Lyft services to take you to our venue, but availability can be hit or miss, especially if you try to get ride share service back from Castle & Key once the wedding is over. Therefore, if you're an out-of-towner, it may be best to have a taxi service on standby, or to rent a car if you don't want to take the chance with a rideshare app! How late will the wedding go?

We have our venue reserved from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm!

Can you share more details about our dinner choices?

Answer

Yes! The three choices for entrees are: Sweet Lilu's Signature Bluegrass Chicken, Wild-Caught Salmon with Pesto-Parmesan Panko Crust, and Balsamic + Brown Sugar Grilled Flank Steak. We got to taste test all three of these entrees, and they were all amazing! However, for any allergies/dietary restrictions, please reach out to us so that we can contact our caterer to ensure that you'll have a suitable dinner to enjoy while you help us celebrate our big day!

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony is currently planned to take place outside, beneath a covered area. The reception will be indoors!

Is the wedding BYOB?

Answer

No. Castle & Key does not allow any outside alcohol. However, if you'd like to drink at the reception, don't fret! Our venue is a distillery and will be providing all kinds of alcohol. (But please drink responsibly!)
