Entry to island is $11 at a toll booth located at the front of the island, but entry to the aquarium & the nearby conservatory is free. Belle Isle Aquarium is the oldest aquarium in North America.
If you feel like extending your vacation to beyond our special day, I would implore you to check out Mackinac Island or Traverse City. They are beautiful in the summertime.
