Let the countdown begin

Tre and I met at Shepherd University. Tre saw me one day as I walked to the library on campus and asked my teammates about me. After getting to know one another around friends, Tre started to walk me to class and to my dorm after practice but would not ask for my number. To give him a little nudge I invited him to an event on campus hosted by the women's basketball team. Tre came with his roommate and we played a couple games of pool. At the end of the night, we went our separate ways without exchanging numbers. That same night my teammate asked if she could give Tre my number but I said no because I wanted him to ask for it (although I knew she probably had already given it to him, he was just scared to use it). After an hour of going back and forth with my teammate I finally gave in. From that day forward, we communicated constantly and became great friends. After a few months of dating, we decided to make it official and have been inseparable ever since.
