Welcome back to our wedding website! First, let us say thank you for joining us this weekend to celebrate our marriage and being patient with us as plans have changed. The past year has taught us the value of a loving and supportive community, as well as taking advantage of life's moments when they come. You are all part of that community, and we are thrilled to be surrounded by each of you as we celebrate this new and exciting chapter of our lives. We met as Juniors at Wake Forest University thanks to a mutual friend (Hi, Court), but our relationship did not start until the fall semester of our Senior year. The first 2 years of our relationship were spent in different cities, Samuel enduring his accounting internship in New York and finishing his Masters at Wake Forest, and Briana hopping from Louisville to Charlotte, finally settling in New York. Our first year in New York we spent adjusting to the city on our own but managed to "coincidentally" run into each other often through our best friend, Dustin. We gave into the cosmos in the Spring of 2014 and decided to intentionally spend time together. We have not looked back. After years - many, many, years- Samuel finally popped the question on the top of the mountain while skiing in Mont Tremblant. Briana was surprised, convinced Samuel would never be so dangerous with the ring. We celebrated with some of our favorite things, our friends, our parents and chocolate fondue.
