Being a naturally quiet person, I tend to keep to myself, so it is rare that someone catches my eye and I feel moved to engage. When I first saw Briana, something just clicked and I knew that she would be the one. She got my number, for work purposes, and from there things took off. It has been a blessing to have her in my life and I look forward to many more years with her.

At work. So cliche right? He was my boss & I was his employee. It was intrigued at first sight! Odaine was quiet & mysterious. You could just tell he was confident by the way he walked around work in a full suit with his hand in his pocket! He was funny but he meant business so I didn’t even think he noticed me! One day I texted him to let him know I was running late to work & the rest was history! I was the one who asked him to hang out first. I was so nervous! After that, we were inseparable! 5 years & a few jobs later, here we are! I’ve dreamt of being Mrs. Hudson for a while & I am so blessed & grateful that God saw fit to bless me with my forever!

It was Valentine’s Day 2020, just a regular Friday! We both went to work that day and Odaine told me what time to be ready that night. About halfway through my work day, I get an email from the administrative assistant letting me know I had a delivery. I went up to the 4th floor to find the most beautiful bouquet of roses with a note attached that read, “I swear I could not love you more than I do right now yet I know I will tomorrow!” I thought it might be a hint of what’s to come but Odaine’s never been cliche so I couldn’t imagine him proposing on Valentine’s Day. I thanked him for the roses & went on about my day. Fast forward to that night, I got dressed up & awaited my date! We went to a seafood restaurant in Marietta and it was delicious! As we were waiting for our drinks, Odaine hands me a gift bag. It was the most beautiful Brahmin handbag I’d ever seen! I placed it to the side and kept chatting. About 5 minutes later, I was like I wonder what the inside looks like. I opened the bag & inside was a blue velvet ring box & I squealed! I was like is this what I think it is!? Before he could even fully get out, “Will You Marry Me?” I screamed YES!! It was perfect! We spent the rest of the night in smiles, basking in what was to be our forever!
