Where is the venue located?

Answer

The venue is located in Placerville, specifically Pleasant Valley, off Newtown and Fort Jim Road. Please make sure to type in the exact address for the Davies Family Inn at Shadowridge Ranch (3700 Fort Jim Road), NOT the winery that has a similar name. The venue said that people in the past have gone to the winery by accident and been late to events.

What should I wear?

Answer

Semi-formal attire would be appreciated! (suits, dresses, etc). Please refrain from wearing jeans and neon colors if possible. This is an outdoor event, so wear what will be comfortable as well.

Children are welcome. But this is an evening event that will be mostly adults. Alcohol will be served.

There is ample parking in the back of the venue, at the top of the hill. You will be directed upon arriving.

Ceremony will begin at 4PM so please arrive by 3:30 at the latest.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

The bride and groom will be taking family photos after the ceremony and there will be a cocktail hour following the ceremony. Dinner will be served after that, and then party time!!
