Briana and Larry created Bumble accounts (dating app) with hopes of finding their soulmate. A few months in to being on Bumble, Larry grew tired of swiping. He decided to just pay for the app (for the upgraded features) so he could see who likes him. The following day, Briana swiped right on Larry. Briana finally messaged Larry for the first time was in the Dominican Republic for a bachelor party for his cousin, Anthony. They continued to talk throughout the bachelor party, and made plans to meet up upon Larry’s return. They finally planned their first date. The day of their first date, Briana was having “car issues”. Larry was disappointed, and figured it was just another copout in the dating app world. However, Briana still came through for the date…and actually had issues with her car. Briana and Larry would spend the next few weeks going out to eat, getting ice-cream or just going for a walk to get to know each other. Within the first two weeks, they had already been on over 5 dates. Briana happened to be out of work due to a disability (tendinitis). The silver lining, was that the soon to be Bride and Groom got to spend a lot of quality time together that they otherwise wouldn’t have had, in such a short amount of time. Briana and Larry felt such a strong connection, and sense of comfortability, that they decided to secretly travel to Canada together after only dating for a few weeks. Both Larry and Briana were so excited, but also worried if this was a good idea (because who leaves the country with someone they’ve known for such a short amount of time?) One of the last few days of the trip, the future Bride and Groom went on a hike to see the whirlpool at the bottom of Niagara Falls. Briana hugged Larry and looked right into his eyes and smiled. In that moment, Larry knew that he loved her. The soon-to-be Bride and Groom have been inseparable ever since. On February 17th, 2025, Larry asked his future Bride for her hand in marriage on Ideal Beach in North Middletown NJ. Afterwards, Larry had both his and her family hiding in a suite in Weehawkin, NJ to surprise the future bride and celebrate their engagement! On May 17th, 2025, we invite you to celebrate our love for one another. We couldn’t imagine celebrating this day without you. It would mean the absolute world to us if you can be there.
