The dress code: Black Tie Optional
We're getting married in a historic palace in Portugal, so this is your opportunity to dress up and celebrate in style.
For women, floor-length gowns are encouraged. For men, tuxedos are welcome but not required; a great suit is perfectly acceptable.
Most importantly, these are simply guidelines. Wear what makes you feel your best. Have an outfit you've been saving for a special occasion? This IS the occasion.
Don't be afraid to embrace color, texture, and personality. Bold, vibrant colors are absolutely welcome and encouraged.
In other words: respectfully, put that thing on!!!! We can't wait to celebrate with everyone looking and feeling amazing.

Are there any colors guests should avoid?
Answer
Yes! We kindly ask guests to avoid wearing white, ivory, cream, champagne, or other shades that may photograph similarly to white. We also ask that guests avoid very pale yellow tones that can appear white in certain lighting and photographs.
