Private rental homes are a great way to enjoy the island, especially if you are traveling with a group. We recommend using LBI's own home rental site, VRLBI.com, but VRBO and Airbnb are also options.

Airports
Newark Liberty International Airport and Philadelphia International Airport are each approximately an hour and a half drive from LBI. Atlantic City International Airport is the closest airport and only around a 50-minute drive. However, there may be less flight options.

Transport Azumah
Transport Azumah offers bus service from NYC to LBI. Bus picks up at 9th Ave and 42nd St with stops at Newark Airport, Manahawkin, Surf City, Beach Haven and Holgate.

LBI Shuttle
One way to get around the island is the LBI Shuttle. The shuttle runs along all 18 miles of the island. With designated areas to stop, it is easy to find a trolley and waive them down to get anywhere you need to go.
